Instant Pay

Instant provides employees with daily access to their pay through payouts of wages, tips, and more. Here’s how.

How it works.

Your employer offers Instant Pay and you choose to receive your wages through Instant. Download the app (search for Instant Financial), create an account, and pair your new Instant debit card you received from your manager.

After your shift, clock out as usual and you’ll get a push notification when your Instant Pay offer is available.

Open the app to claim your Instant Pay to get paid immediately.

Spend money anywhere Visa is accepted, withdraw cash for free at our network of MoneyPass ATMs, or transfer money to your bank account for free.

On your regular pay day, you’ll receive the rest of your pay and any unclaimed Instant Pays.

Your employer offers Instant Tips so you will receive tips through Instant. Download the app (search for Instant Financial), create an account, and pair your new Instant debit card you received from your manager.

Your manager will securely send you the remainder of your owed tips after your shift. You’ll have access to your tip money immediately.

Open the app to see your tips transferred to your Instant debit card.

Things you may want to know.

No Fees

We don’t believe in charging fees to receive, spend, or access your money. We only charge avoidable fees, such as a 90-day inactivity fee and an off-network ATM withdrawal fee.

Creating an account

If your employer offers Instant, download the Instant Financial app or click here to log in to Instant via the web. Creating an account takes less than 5 minutes.

Pairing A Card

Your manager will give you your Instant debit card. Pair your card with the app by scanning the bar code on the right-hand side of your card.

Lost Or Stolen Card

You can freeze your card in the app so your money can not be spent off the card. When you receive a replacement card, you can unfreeze your card in the app.

Replacing Your Card

Ask your manager for a new card and pair your new card in the app by scanning the bar code on the right-hand side of your new card.

Changing Your PIN

Call 1-844-466-9361 and press 4 to change your PIN.

Checking Card Balance

Open the app to check your account balance or call 1-844-466-9361 and press 4 to request a “mini-statement” for a transaction history.

Making Purchases & Returns

Make purchases anywhere Visa® cards are accepted within the US, including online. The refund or credit from returns will be credited back to your card.

ATM Cash Withdrawals

You can withdraw cash from any ATM. To avoid fees, use the ATM finder in the app to find the nearest free ATM from over 25,000 across the US.

Pre-Authorizations

Some merchants, such as gas stations, restaurants, hotels, and car rental agencies, place a pre-authorization hold to ensure your card is valid and that there are sufficient funds on the card to cover the final amount. Holds are removed and released back to your card when the transaction is completed.

Restrictions

The Instant Visa® debit card can only be used within the US. You can only load your debit card using pay or tips received from your employer.
